Fever from 1 week

Dear Doctor My son 10yrs is not well from last Friday it has been 6 days now. he has only had a fever ranging from 99.5-100.2 max.Yesterday he had a bit of a cough and cold. We had done a dengue test/ blood and urine test all are negative. Pls guide what precautions have to be taken. He is active and only for a few mins he gets shivering and gets temperature after taking calpol it gets down. Regards Prashanth
