Hi! Fever and vomiting for one day could suggest a viral fever or gastritis, which regularly occurs in kids of that age. If your child is not irritable or tired,  is feeding well and is passing urine adequately then you can treat the child at home with paracetamol. If your child is very sick, looks dehydrated and is continuously vomiting, develops rashes or his urine output starts reducing then you should visit your local Pediatrician immediately

for fever- syp paracetamol can be given and cold sponging the body will help in reducing fever for vomiting - syp ondansetron dosage should be based on the weight ors can be given to replace the electrolytes lost in vomiting
