First six months of the baby, only mothers milk is required. Since she is already on formula milk, giving water is okay from next month

Exclusive breastfeeding is advisable till 6 months, since baby is already on formula you can give boiled water. Boil the water for 15 minutes after the bubbles appear. Use a spoon and bowl for feeding the baby. Do not use bottles.

It's better to start water from 6 months...till then only breast milk is advisable as it helps to build up baby's immunity and generates strong bond between mother and child.

First 6 month baby should be on breast milk only nothing else. If you have started formula milk that must be diluted in water only and also you have started banana in that case you may give water but it should be boiled at 100*c for at least 10min and then you can cool it and give to your baby.
