It's anxiety spectrum disorder. It's in your best interest if you consult a nearby Psychiatrist in-person and discuss regarding starting a drug from SSRI class. You will probably feel better in 2-4 weeks.

Hi. Having preoccupation with a major life threatening illness is a concern from mental health point of view, more so, if it is hampering your routine activities and functionality. Could be hypochondriasis or somatoform disorders, for which detailed workup is needed. Psychiatrist treat such disorders, please consult at the earliest.

Hi there, It’s always important to know the detailed medical history and psychiatric history for every case.In addition, a detailed mental status examination is also recommended for every patient to come for a diagnosis and its management accordingly. There is a need to know about the details of your symptoms. Was there any stressful event before starting of the symptoms you are having? Have you been examined by any physician in the past? Are you a smoker Is there any history of heart problems or diabetes in your family? There is a need to get some of the routine examination done for your age to rule out medical illnesses?
Health Tips
Do get the help of a mental health professional to rule out medical illnesses and to focus on psychiatric illnesses in the absence of the medical illnesses.
