What you’re describing sounds like a strong anxiety cycle, where the fear leads to continuous thinking, which increases the physical symptoms like a racing heartbeat and then creates even more fear. I would not suggest taking any medicine without an evaluation by a psychiatrist or doctor. Along with medical support, therapy can help you break the overthinking and anxiety cycle, manage the physical symptoms and improve your sleep.
