Hi...considering your age orthodontic treatment would be advisable. As far as time is considered its not a issue. Other options are veneer or crowns.

in orthodontic treatment you have the advantage of correcting your teeth naturally

hello patient, Gaps in front teeth can be due to multiple reasons, but I'll keep my advice concise. The two main reasons at your age are: 1. malposition of teeth (orthodontic problem) 2. periodontal disease In both the cases, gaps can be treated within 5 months. In malpositioning of teeth, the ideal treatment is to go for a fixed mechanotherapy or removable orthodontic appliance as per the case demand. an orthodontic treatment usually takes time minimum of 6 months to 2 years but the treatment has much better prognosis than aesthetic treatments. For malpositioning of teeth, we have aesthetic treatments too in which smile designing is done with the help of partial crowns or full covering crowns all over front teeth. Crowns either full or partial both need to be repeated over time lets say after 15 years. Gums recede with time and margins of these crown become exposed and this can happen early if hygiene isn't maintained. So aesthetic treatments come with a recurring expense as compared to orthodontic treatment. If you feel that you have a gum due to a poor oral hygiene if your gums appear reddish blue in color then it's better to go for a periodontist (gums specialist) consult, he'll clean your teeth and prevent the advent of the disease first. Later you can either go for an orthodontic or an aesthetic treatment.
Next Steps
visit both an orthodontist & a periodontist
