Endometrial hyperplasia

2026-05-03 11:45:32
Hi I was undergoing an IVF treatment and before that had an endometrial biopsy which revealed endometrial hyperplasia without atpiya.. I don't remember my doctor being concerned about it at that time. It was in 2024. I was put on Crina 10 after ovulation every month for 10 days. Now to today .. before ET transfer my doctor did my TVS and found polyps and also I see my scan from day 3 now which show ET 7mm which used to be ET 3.4 in 2024 .. I have read more about hyperplasia and now I am scared what if it has progressed to something dangerous.. why my doctor did not treat me to reverse it .. was I ignored and am I in danger .. 2024 reports attached

You can have a proper hysteroscopy with endometrial biopsy with polypectomy before embryo transfer again

Hi Please calm down, as you have received the right treatment for your condition. Endometrial hyperplasia WITHOUT ATYPIA rarely progresses to malignancy Simple endometrial hyperplasia without atypia is the histological finding which you have on biopsy, the same thing when seen hysteroscopically gives the picture of polypoidal growth, which is evident o your TVS. You have received the progesterone treatment every month, which is the cure for hyperplasia without atypia. One thing which is missing in your case is the follow up which is mandatory atleast every six months.
Next Steps
You may ask for the biopsy of the endometrium again and probably a hyteroscopy guided biopsy, for best assessment of the endometrial condition at present
Health Tips
After finding out the present situation and its reversal with progesterone either oral or as a intra uterine device, it's possible to go for IVF and a successful pregnancy. All the best.
