Egg shape oblong
I was diagnosed with polycystic appearance of normal ovary. But I have been having regular periods, no pain, no issue. So Dr gave me inj gonal injection frm day9to16. Egg started growing. But in oblong shape 22x15mm, not circular. So Dr told me take tablets next month instead of injection.
Could u please tell me why it dint grow circular, wats the issue, r thr any complications. Will the same happen next month also. And will there b side effects for this injection and tablet.

Circular follicles are usually indicative of having healthy eggs. Oblong follicles may suggest that either there is no egg in the follicle or that the egg is not healthy. These things usually do not recur and you are likely to grow a healthy follicle next time.
