Echogenic focus noted in Left ventricle

Echogenic focus measuring 2.1mm noted with in left ventricle . We had an anomaly scan done on 28th oct. The scan showed everything normal except this. Can you please suggest if this is concerning and what should we do next? When my wife is now  23 weeks pregnant.

This is a very common finding with no consistent interpretation. It can be normal and may disappear. You should tell the paediatrician about this after your delivery.

Isolated findings of ecogenic focus in the heart are of no significance if the double marker test is normal Next step would be Fetal echo
