My wife undergone a level 2 scan yesterday. Its mentioned" there is small Echogenic focus in left ventricle of the heart". What does it mean. Earlier we did nb/nt scan and it was normal Dual marker:- Biochemical 1:113 Trisomy t21 with nb/nt 1:600 With this outcome doctor suggested nipt and it came screen negative. Now what is this Echogenic focus in left ventricle? I am worried much.

It is a common finding these days.  It doesn't call for any action on your part. When the baby is born you should tell about this finding to your Paediatrician. Most of the time this echogenic focus disappears.
