Echogenic focus and bowel

I did my anomaly. Two findings are there. Mild Echogenic focus and echogenic bowel. My Nt report was noraml. Quadruple marker report is also negative. I also did my anomaly after 4days with fetal medicine doctor. Is amnocytosis test is required? Because this test is not 100 percent safe. My gyno doctor told me follow up usg is required. She told me don't required aminocytosis. Because focus generally goes away What should I do?

Echogenic focus is generally seen in the heart. There is nothing known as mild echogenic focus. It is a fairly common finding. Most of the time no untoward happening is associated with it. All that it needs is that you should be aware of it. As far as amniocentesis is concerned, it is not a safe investigation. If you want to do something, go for NIPT which is done from your blood.

These all are the screening markers and nothing is diagnostic tests like amniocentesis . But it has its own risks and implications . Do follow up usg definitely and then take a call . As echo genie bowel and intra cardiac foci both are minor markers it may spontaneously disappear
