Dear sir If ear pain is after an episode of cold , sore throat then it’s infection and a course of antibiotics have to be taken along with anti inflammatory medicine according to the severity . Ear pain can also be caused by impacted ear wax .Specific reason of ear pain has to be ruled out so in person ear examination has to be done .
