My father is suffering from cough from past a week , we have visited hospital doc has asked for covid test in next week's time . Can I get some home remedy for now So that he gets some peaceful sleep and some rest Before going through covid test He has no fever no fatigue only dry cough

After 10days of symptoms  there hardly any role of Covid test.so give him claribid and cough sedative (reswas)and antiallergic treatment and investigate property
