She has dry cough, wheezes and chest tightness. She already took ventolin but the wheezes and chest tightness doesnt go away. So, what she needs to do? Take nebulizer at hospital? Or see a doctor and change to a new medication. And two month ago she also have the same complaints and been diagnosed of acute bronchitis with severe bronchial asthma. And she also has allergic rhinitis. So, i just want to ask, what she needs to do. Does she always need to go to hospital to take nebulizer when the ventolin doesnt work?

Ventorlin is just for rescue.. it's not doing anything for the disease.. use a long acting inhalers after consulting with a pulmonologist.. nebulizer are easy way to deliver but it delivers a very high dose.. you need to use home medicines like inhalers and or dry powder capsules for controlling your asthma in routine.. nebulizer and hospital only for emergency.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern . You need to get it checked out by a pulmonologist in person for further evaluation and management.  As of now just give her a tab. Montovent-Lc along with ventolin. But don't just rely on this, get it checked out ASAP. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
