Its fine since you do not have symptoms but please dont be so immature that such things happen and you are asking here , you are lucky that no symptoms appeared , basically you should have been vaccinated the day you got that scratches, still next time never do such silly things always get to the nearest hospital for vaccination.

If the Rabies virus is still sitting at the same place where the dog's teeth touched your thumb 6 months ago then it certainly was a dead virus. So you don't need the Anti-rabies vaccine.

This will be classified as a category 1 wound and no vaccine is needed. But please be advised that rabies is a fatal disease and even if there was slight blood at the site of injury/bite, no risk should be taken and the full course of Post exposure prophylaxis with rabies vaccine should be completed. If it's six months old, nothing to worry about.
Next Steps
If the incident is six months old, no need to worry now.
Health Tips
In the future, please practice caution and follow proper wound cleaning measures.

Vaccination will be ideal before 24 hrs of exposure, since rabies virus has a long incubation period, u can take vaccine now also if u are having no symptoms (Rationale of post exposure prophylaxis is valid till u have no symptoms). Many people will question ur decision of getting vaccine as 6 months have passed , but u can take it if you are willing
Health Tips
Rabies virus has reported incubation period of more than one year in some people (Rare yet documened), so even if you are assymptomatic, i suggest u take the vaccine , Thank you

No need for vaccination since it has been more than 6 months but if you are working in a field where the risk of being exposed to dogs and other animals are high , then I would suggest you to take a prophylaxis dose of vaccination

For any future dog bites or scratches , wash the area with soap and consult doctor promptly for vaccination advice.
