Does TCA causes high BP?

I'm taking opiprol and sarotena from 4 years, does it cause increase in Blood pressure? If so which type of antidepressants is helpful for not getting BP

Hi, Quite unlikely, as these medications mentioned may cause low blood pressure (hypotension) rather than high BP (hypertension). For your age, hypertension is unlikely. To be on safer side, meet a physician and check your BP checked on 3 different occasions on different timings and rule out causes of hypertension with required tests, if necessary. Anxiety can also affect your BP.
