Hello sir, I am 18 years old, from Odisha. I had a head injury 10 years ago and had a brain CT scan done at that time. Two days ago, I had another CT scan done due to head pain, and the report is normal. I have had two brain CT scans in my life, one at the age of 8 and another at 18. I am worried that the radiation from the CT scans might cause cancer in the future. Please sir, reply and help me, I have been very anxious for the past 2 days.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Having two CT brain scans in 10 years is completely safe and will not cause cancer. Medical CT scans use low radiation, and cancer risk appears only after dozens of scans done repeatedly every year, not 1-2 scans in a decade.
Your latest CT is normal- your anxiety is the real cause of your worry now, not the radiation.

While repeated exposure to CT radiation can cause cancer, you case seems to be different because the two incidents have a lot of gap between them and the dose of radiation is standard . Do not worry.
