Do I have TMJ?

2019-03-28 08:42:48
I am suffering from pain below my ears for a long time. Started one side but now beginning to pain the other side as well. I have popping sounds in my ear, pain in temple area, really bad case of pain in neck and shoulder areas. I have pain in eyes and sometimes it seems like my vision is blurry. Consultations with ENT specialists have not provided any relief at all. Is it possible that I am suffering from TMJ? What can I do for relief and whom should I contact for further diagnosis and resolution.

Seems like you are having tmj disorder. For complete evaluation please see oral and maxillofacial surgeon.for pain you can have analgesics and muscle relaxants. Don't open your mouth wide esp during yawning.and you can give hot and cold fermentation. For 10 minutes.

Hi. Yes it does sounds like TMJ problem. It can be due to number if reasons like grinding or clenching your teeth at night, chewing gums frequently, nail biting, etc. You need to have your bite checked as well.
Next Steps
See an Oral Surgeon or an Oral Medicine Doctor.
