The way we take medicine for health conditions similarly we take medicine for mental health condition. There is no harm taking medicine. It will only help. Since how long are you taking medicine? It takes around 2-3 weeks for medication to actually starts giving it's effect. Recovery duration varies from severity to severity however, it usually takes a year long process to have medication. If you are looking for best results. Follow a combination of medication and therapy. That does wonders.
