My father is suffering from digestion issue from last one year ... Every night he says food is being stuck in food pipe due to cough and vomit happens ... Cough is geNerating daily and stuck in food pipe .. please suggest us
As Doctor.S.K sir suggested endoscopy would be a good option to go with. As any constrictions or ulcers can be identified.
If this is too invasive for him. He can even opt for barium swallow esophageal x ray. With that too the esophagus and the gut can be assessed.

It he has this symptom of food getting stuck in the food pipe for the last one year then he must have Upper GI ENDOSCOPY . It may give a diagnosis. Even if nothing abnormal is found , at least he will get the assurance that nothing is wrong with him.
