Diet during cold and congestion

My 9 month old baby is having cold and cough. I suspect chest congestion. Please advice diet during this period.

Hi Lukewarm water throught the day for sipping, soups with pepper powder added lightly can be given,  steam inhalations with proper atmost care to be carefully given to baby, can apply mild baby vicks vaporub to throat, chest and back for better breathing, all types of complementary foods to be given in warm with small portions to baby frequently.. Home made corriander and mint soups with pepper can be given..to baby slowly.. Cereal pulse premix powders can be given, dal water, rice kanji can be given in limited amounts.. Takecare Thankyou

Give the baby warm and clear soups ,mung dal n rice khichdi,bajra porridge.Add little sunth(dry ginger powder) and black pepper to milk n porridge n khichdi.
Health Tips
Give lukewarm water to drink.Also give plenty of fluids to help the baby get rid of the congestion.
