Plz help me out with the complete diet chart and the time duration between two feeds for my 1 year old son. Kindly suggest some healthy food options. Normally his diet consists of sooji or boiled potatoes in the mornings followed by some fruits after 2-3 hours. Then, some khichdi for the lunch. After that some biscuits with milk in the evenings and later some ragi or oats in the night. Also, suggest which fruits are good for the summer season.

As your child is 1 year old, he needs all food groups in his daily diet, whereas green vegetables and fruits are lacking. Children usually get hungry after every 2 hours so small and frequent food they can eat. Try to give him handy cut vegetables like carrot sticks, slices of tomatoes, cucumber, all seasonal juice fruits. Besides this, let him have food by his own, so you can offer him veg paratha in roll form, dosas, dal chila, mix flour paratha, sometime puris, dhokalas, idlis, boiled eggs. Try to avoid giving bakery products regularly like buscuits or cakes. Instead offer home made khakara, sweet pancakes, fruit slices. Do include milk 2 times a day atleast. For summer, home made buttermilk, lemon water works good.
