Hello
This is not a routine loose motion — but with proper diagnosis and treatment, it can be effectively managed. Child’s growth and hydration are key priorities now.
Persistent diarrhea needs evaluation:
Stool routine + microscopy
Stool reducing substances and pH
Stool for Giardia antigen or cysts
CBC,
CRP, ESR
Celiac screening
Next Steps
Avoid milk and dairy temporarily – can worsen diarrhea in lactose intolerance
Use lactose-free diet or curd instead of milk
Avoid juices and processed foods
Offer rice, banana, boiled potato, khichdi, and easily digestible meals
ORS after each stool if volume is high
