Diagnosed with hyperthyroid -Tsh ->0.022

My wife has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She's taking carbimazole 10 mg tablets thrice a day. Whenever she took a tablet she suffer dipression like symptoms. Is it safe to continue with this tablet plz guide
