Depression, low confidence

I was normal child till my 7th class. Then we had to shift from village to city in 8th class. I started feeling inferior compared to other children's in school. They were polished, sophisticated. I was good student in my previous school. Here I felt I am nothing, I was not getting good marks.I started thinking day and night- how to do better in studies, what are my shortcomings etc. It had bad impact on my personality. Two years later, my mother suffered from severe depression. I saw her reactions, struggle, issues everyday. I developed deep fear for depression in me. Even on slightest of any symptom, I would feel I am suffering from depression. Finally, when I was 26 years, due to career related decision I had little anxiety, palpitations etc but my old fear of depression caught me and anxiety, palpitation worsened. Since then (last 5 years) I am taking Rexipra 10 mg. whenever I leave the medicine I get panic attacks. I still think too much, whole day, feel inferior. Pls help

You need to see a counsellor or a psychologist who can help you overcome your anxiety and fears. Continuous therapy can help you.
