My mother experiences sadness at the very extreme level. Once, it reached to suicidal level.  Sometimes certain behaviour of people which is not acceptable to her triggers her feelings and instead of expressing it she sits silently and sometimes faints. Her BP lowers too much at this point. Entire body turns cold. I am trying to find the cause and solution to this behaviour.

Homoeopathy along with counseling can help her overcome this tendency. Please consult over phone for detailed case history and right prescription for your mother's ailments.

Even a tiniest thought of SUICIDE in a person’s mind should be taken seriously by relatives . Please meet the closest Psychiatrist at earliest. There is definitely a solution but for that you need to let a closest Psychiatrist assess the patient.

Symptoms you have mentioned are suggestive of depression with dissociative/anxiety spells. This of course needs to be throughly looked into. I suggest you for consultation with a psychiatrist .
