Hello Friend, Good that your seeking a help here. I can understand your suitation well. Being a doctor I know, you would have tried possible options and but still unable to control this anxiety. With this suitation, let me share my view from ayurveda angle.
Typically such anxiety and related symptoms like nervousness, disturbed sleep, poor appetite, negative thoughts, self harming etc happens due to imbalance of air/vayu energy (Vata in Ayurveda term). As body and mind is interlinked it also Influence body functioning like digestion , sexual desire, respiration etc. The reason could be due nature of body type, excess intake of dry, raw, cold foods, spicy, bitter taste foods, climate, lifestyle disorder etc. The solution is adjustment of certain tastes and foods, ayurveda therapy like Shirodhara, few home remedies etc. However it need further evaluation of your body constitution type to recommend right solution.
