It depends on the level emotional imbalance and the symptoms exhibited by individual. As the body and mind is interlinked, certain mental disturbance gets recovered by taking care of your body through diet, exercise, yoga, home remedies, lifestyle changes. Ayurveda provides such solution. But you need to go through assessment of your body first to explore the solution. Hi. It's a very brave step on your part to consider opting out of medication, which is understandable since medication has a lot of side effects. Keep the above in mind, we still cannot forget the fact that medicines help you feel stable so that you can work on the symptoms of depression and anxiety. If you still want to opt out of medicines, I would urge you to see a psychologist who would help you to understand and work on your symptoms. Therapies help people to work on the root cause of their negative thought process and managing one's anxious thoughts as well.
