Dear Sir Peoplr who work night shifts often have difficulty in sleeping, feel exhausted all the time, experience heavy headedness, and lack energy. Please see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and also to rule out other mental health problem like depression. Try practicing healthy lifestyle techniques like limiting the number of night shifts if possible, limited use of caffeine and nicotine, exercising daily, relaxation techniques like meditation. See a psychiatrist for further help. Thanks Regards Dr Ankita Mishra

Hello practo user I can understand your concerns and it is seen that working night shifts can bring about these changes as our circadian rhythm is not set like that . Lifestyle changes can help such as eating a healthy and balanced diet , regular exercise is beneficial . Try and suggest meditation and deep breathing as they can help clear the thoughts . Sleep hygiene can also be made better by having relaxing tea or warm milk , taking a nice warm bath , limiting caffeine and also spending time with close family members and friends whenever possible. If there is any stress regarding work try and communicate with her. It is suggested that you seek help from a clinical psychologist for diagnosis and formulation of a treatment plan through which she can learn healthy and positive coping strategies . You can also reach out to me through the practo app for any further help or guidance.
