Dental x-rays cancer rosk

Due to me prone to dental issues like hving lot of rcts nd tooth decay i have had lot of dental x-rays mainly that digital ones and one time also that whole mouth traditional .recently I read an article where there was association between dental x-rays and cancer at later stage . cant  a dental surgeon avoid x-rays to rule out RCT or that is only way .i just had a cavity in my tooth and was also having pain under jaw right below that tooth  but it was mainly due to lymph node or some me  issue bit doctor used again xray to check.i am afraid these radiation exposure will effect me now.

Hie.. the radiation of those X-rays are low.. don’t worry about it.. get ur X-ray done if it’s a necessity as per your dentist to c..

There is no need to worry as the intraoral or full mouth opg radiation dose are lower , usually less than one day of natural background radiation. And If doctor is taking xray it's for ur benefits to make a correct diagnosis.
