All ceramic and metal ceramic are two types of crowns used in Dentistry. The ceramic is in many different forms like powder, Ingot and Disc. Different combinations of Alumina fluoro silicate glass, kaolin and silica are used in these ceramic powders , lithium di silicate and zirconium oxide are other types of ceramics used in Dentistry in Ingot and Disc form used for milling crowns.

One - Metal layered with ceramic to give tooth like appearance
Second only ceramic- zirconia or lithium disilicate is used to fabricate crown.
