Delayed Period Query

2026-03-16 03:06:20
I wanted to ask for some guidance regarding my girlfriend’s situation. Her last period started on 24 January. We were intimate on 9–10 February but there was no penetration, only fingering, and there was no semen involved. Her periods had been regular for the last few months. However, her period has still not come. We did three urine pregnancy tests on 8 March and all of them were negative. For the last 3–4 days she has been experiencing cramps and pain in the middle of her lower abdomen, similar to period cramps. We are a bit worried about the delay and wanted to ask if this could be a normal hormonal delay or if you would recommend any tests like a beta-hCG blood test or further consultation.

Do a beta HCG for confirmation If it's negative then pregnancy is not a possibility

As pregnancy test negative  3 times and getting  period like  cramps, wait for few days, for period. If it's getting  delayed  more than a week, then do Beta HCG Test

“Pregnancy is very unlikely as there was no penetration or semen exposure, and multiple urine tests are negative. This is most likely a hormonal delay or stress-related cycle variation. Wait a few more days—periods should come. If delay continues beyond 1–2 weeks, you can consider a beta-hCG test or consult a doctor.”

Im sure you are aware of the bare minimum requirements to concieve and what u describe  definitely does not lead to pregnancy. 3 urine tests should be enough to rule out any pregnancy
