My periods usually occur once in 2 months and this cycle has been continuing for 8 months approx any specific reasons on why it could be happening and how can I mitigate it, any medicines I can take

if you are also gaining wait then get thyroid profile ,serum prolactin and ultrasound of lower abdomen done.
