Deflazacort & Gabapentin

2023-04-07 06:58:48
My orthopedist advised Defcort 6mg, Gabapentin 300mg, Baclofen 10mg and Folic acid 5mg for increased RA factor(138 U/ml) and by seeing clinical symptoms. Last night, I took Defcort 6mg at 9pm and Gabapentin at 11:30pm. But, around 4 o'clock at morning, both palm became little numb and I was sweating a little. Is this side effect or something else? (Earlier I was taking 200mg Gabapentin for 10 days, doctor increased this to 300mg since yesterday)

The symptoms you experienced - numbness in both palms and sweating - could be side effects of the medications you are taking, particularly the Gabapentin. Gabapentin is known to cause drowsiness, dizziness, and confusion, which could potentially lead to sweating and numbness in extremities. It's important to inform your doctor about these symptoms so they can monitor your medication dosage and adjust it if necessary. Additionally, make sure to follow your doctor's instructions for taking your medications, including the timing and dosage, to ensure their effectiveness and safety.
