Deep Bite and Premolar Extracted

When I was 17 yrs I was having crowded teeth and had Deep Bite. So dentist done Orthodontic treatment for 5 Yrs and He also extracted premolars both. After the treatment also the gap haven't closed and Deep Bite is still exist. I want to know better treatment plan in order to rectify Deep Bite and Gap Closing. Thanks
