Sorry for the loss of your friend.
Since your friend passed away just a few weeks earlier you might be thinking about her consciously or subconsciously which is manifesting in your dreams. It is okay because when we miss someone thinking about them or dreaming about them is like a tribute to them. Overthinking or trying to control may make it worse, accepting it could be of some help.
It is quite possible that there could be some unresolved emotions between the two of you. You can try counseling where a counselor can use role-play to help you identify what it could be.
You can always get the help of a counselor if you feel that this could be a problem and affects your normal day-to-day activities.
