Ct value above 26 is infectious

Someone I met yesterday tested Covid 19'positive with Ct value 26 - 28. Can he infect me ? I am double vaccinated

icmr has clearly stated that ct value is of no significance since it depends on the calibration of machine..earlier it was noted that a low ct value has a higher transmission rate..NOT ANYMORE..since you have in contact with a covid positive patient you definitely need to quarantine yourself and watch for symptoms till the 7th day..no need to worry after if you have not developed any symptoms by then

Yes you may be infected irrespective of ct value. Please get yourself tested after 3-4 days. Until then please quarantine

Yes. Isolate yourself for 5 days. Do betadine gargles If no symptoms after 5 days, then very unlikely you got covid.
