Crowned tooth

2017-03-11 04:07:49
In October 2016 I had to get a root canal done for my second molar tooth on the left because it cracked from one side. After root canal the tooth was capped with a ceramic crown. But now , after 4 months I feel heaviness and pain while chewing. There is no unbearable pain but it persists over the day. In mornings the tooth feels heavy and when I try to chew food it hurts a bit . What should I do ? Thankyou

Get an X-ray to determine and evaluate root canal treatment done. Root canal treatment may have failed and re treatment options are available

You need to get an X-ray done to confirm whether there is any infection or not. We need to know whether the cause is the root canal treated tooth or pressure applied by the third molar causing the pain and discomfort.
