Cracking sound from jaw

Yawning ends in a cracking sound frm the jaw which is not painful. This happens in big yawns when im stretching my jaw a little more than the usual stretch of mouth for eating etc

Its because of a temporomandibular joint disorder called internal derangement. you have to be very careful while stretching your mouth. don't over stretch while eating or yawning. keep your jaw supported with the help of your palm while doing such activities. you can also do a warm fermentation at the joint and if the problem continues please consult a oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
