My dad is having severe cough.. from past 3days.. he had mild fever first 2 days but it has subsided now... There is no other complain like weakness, body pain, or loss of smell or taste... Should he test for covid ? Currently he is taking azithromycin and a cough syrup..

Do CBC,CRP and Rtpcr/Rapid Ag test as it might be covid or anyother viral or bacterial cause Have plenty of fluid and temperature monitoring if has fever and look for breathlessness Take medication according to prescription
