If you are covid 19 positive, it obvious that persistent fever is due to active infection or inflammation. Outcome will depend on day of illness, your oxygen saturation level. Persistent fever is not of concern. The concern is to check whether you are having any complications or not. Reports are okay but that doesn't cover every aspect of a disease.
