Cough and cold
My daughter is 4.5 years old. She has recurrent cough(wet cough) that improves with syrup but comes back.This cough worsen at night.she suffers from cold and then cough frequently.what should I do/give her?

May be prolonged viral cough or allergic cough.
If coughing is very severe that disturbs sleep, you should consult physically. Coughing 5-6 times a day is absolutely normal for any kid and this is generally a sign of letting his/ her secretions out. There is nothing to worry.
You should keep the child hydrated. Consult if you feel cough is severe and limits the activity of child.
