The patient is coughing like anything and has dry cough. He is a COPD patient who has survived covid 3 months back. He is also highly diabetic. Please suggest as his coughing might turn severe for him

First and foremost control Diabetes.cough is protective phenomenon. It is good if children,and old people have cough,enough to expectorate. Do not give cough suppressants.May be he require bronchodilators.pl give Pulmoclear syrup, 1tsf 3times a day. Pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
