Contraceptive effectiveness

Does the effectiveness of the combined pill( ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel) get reduced if a person faces diarrhea a few hours or immediately after the pill is consumed? Diarrhea occurred in the first 3 days of using the pill for the 5th month, however every incident of motion did not necessarily occur after the pill was administered. No pills have ever been missed yet.

The effectiveness of contraceptive pills will  decrease if you have vomiting also. If you have vomiting within 3 hours of taking the pill then that day will be counted as if you missed your pill. Similarly if you have diarrhoea for one day , you may take two pills the next day. But if you have diarrhoea for two or more days then the effectiveness of pills will be lost for that month.
