Can there by any underlying health problem if the BP is constantly as high as 150-170, even after taking moxon 0.2 mg twice a day ? What to do when BP doesn't go down despite the prescribed dose.

Constantly high bp with medication must evaluate to rule out the causes of high bp... It may take increase dose of the medicine or change the medicine

If ur bp is not lowered then medication need to be changed because long term bp may damage kidneys , eyes and other vital organs

Yes there could be Systemic issues related to high blood pressure. If bp not lowering with current medication then you need to start on with combined therapy. Restrict salt intake Do mild to moderate exercise daily
