Hi, thank you for sharing this openly. The difficulties you described—trouble concentrating, relationship difficulties and the impact of difficult childhood experiences—can be emotionally exhausting. However, having some narcissistic traits does not automatically mean that you have Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). A diagnosis requires a detailed clinical assessment of longstanding patterns across different areas of life.
I would recommend starting with a Counselling Psychologist( CBT) for a detailed psychological assessment and therapy. A therapist can help you understand your childhood experiences, relationship patterns, self-image, emotional responses and difficulties with attention.
If the assessment indicates significant symptoms that may benefit from medication or if there are severe mood, anxiety or other psychiatric symptoms, a Psychiatrist can also be consulted.
