Cold, Uncomfortable Throat, Fever 7 year
7 years old daughter having cold and throat irritation for 3 days and then last day fever came in night. Her weight is 19 KG. We had given Wikoryl DS 7 ml one dose in night. She is ok now. Can we continue same syrup for next 3 days and what should be dose for Wikoryl DS? She has throat uncomfortable also. Please prescribe any other treatment.
Throat irritation can be because of viral infection or because of bacterial infection. So it’s better to visit pediatrician near by once. For bacterial infection leading to tonsillitis or pharyngitis she needs antibiotic. For viral infection whatever is suggested is good enough.
