My answer is simple. Not to give too many drugs.  Give Indian concocction  150ml of drinking water,+ crushed ginger, +jaggary,+3 whole black pepper,+3 cloves boil to concentrate it and make it 100ml. Cool it. Serve it warm twice a day. For 3 days. You may give steam inhalation.It may be difficult to handle steam inhation. Always fear of burns. Add vitC soluble tablets.500mg once a day for 10days.

Give flucold syurp 2.5ml thrice a day. Also nasoclear nasal drops 1 drop thrice a day. Give steam inhalation, warm water to drink with honey, soup, add haldi in food or if giving milk.
