Kindly avoid fruits such as grapes, pineapple, lemon lemon water, orange, curd and cold items etc to be avoided during respiratory infection. For cough you give syrup Ascoril LS 4ml three times daily for 5 days along with laveta M 5ml at night for 5days. If she doesn't improve, i ll want to see the child so that time kindly book an online appointment with me. Take care

Several studies done show that all foods can be given, at room temperature to the child. The child's appetite will naturally be less during an illness, just as adults are, so dont forcefeed at all. Give the child how much ever he/she wants, and whatever foods they want (except fried and junk foods). I am a mom of a 1 year old, as well as a child nutrition advisor. For any further doubts or to discuss further, kindly book an online consultation with me. You can check out my Instagram page @pediatrician_india for more helpful tips ! Take care!
