Though it is difficult at times to deal with certain loss. But life taught us to carry on with  life as it comes. It  is  advisable that you should consult  psychiatrist if grief reaction is too intense and is interfering with your daily living.Self medication is really harmful.

Hello! I'm sorry for your loss. But it's best to not self-medicate. If you really want medication, visit a psychiatrist. It will be most advisable if you visited a psychologist/psychotherapist/NLP practitioner. They will help you in a better way to deal with the loss.
Next Steps
1. don't self-medicate 2. visit a mental health professional

You should not self medicate. Antidepressants are given for syndromal depression and not for grief which is a natural process. Consult a psychiatrist and then start medication if warranted
